Empower Lactation exists to educate, empower and encourage families and new dyads on their lactation journeys. We offer prenatal education and postpartum support along with telehealth consultations. We are honored to support you through whatever challenge you face: oral tethers, medical challenges, supply issues, mastitis, returning to work, tandem breastfeeding, combo feeding or feeding multiples to name a few. As an internationally board certified lactation consultant with 13 years of personal breastfeeding experience, a degree in speech and language therapy, and as a trauma informed postpartum doula, I bring a unique perspective. It is my passion to provide compassionate care for all families during this beautiful and vulnerable time. As a result all of our mamas are invited to our weekly virtual postpartum support circle to support postpartum mental health and emotional well being. We are honored to serve Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties. We also accept many health insurance plans through The Lactation Network.
